Getting Back to Play in 2021
As 2021 progresses forward, the Organized Play team at CMON has been anxiously awaiting the time when our fans will once again be able to enjoy their favorite games again with in-person play at their FLGS. To that end, we are enthusiastically making plans for local support for the A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniature Game. Many of these are items originally slated for 2020 that necessarily had to be postponed, but others will be all-new kits and promotions targeted around the exciting new releases slated for the rest of this year and into 2022.
In the hopes of getting things started, we are offering to retailers in North America the Back to Play 2021 kit as a way to help get A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniature Game players back and playing in-person games. This kit includes a number of items originally available only to the Kickstarter backers to support the first 3 factions in the game: Stark, Lannister, and Mercenary. Also, they feature two brand new promo miniatures, Stannis and Renly Baratheon in glittering metallic gold!
All we ask from local retailers is advertisement for your Back to Play event (a social media event link is plenty) and Pictures! We want to know that your players are participating in Back to Play by showing off their armies and games on our social media pages. Please upload your picture to Facebook or Instagram with the hastags #cmongames and #sifbacktoplay and tag our social account @coolminiornot on Facebook or @cmongames on Instagram. Also, Retailers not currently participating in the CMON Play program are encouraged to sign up to be part of future retailer targeted promotions.
Retailers interested in this promotion can email Organizedplay@cmon.com for details. Please note, this is a limited promotion and kits will be limited to a first-come basis. This promotion is planned to be made available to retailers in the EU and APAC regions in the near future. Retailers in those regions should be notified through their local distributor when this promotion is available.
